South Dakota farmer is a ‘pioneer’ in using precision technology

It’s probably safe to call Jerome Tschetter of Bridgewater, South Dakota an “early adapter” when it comes to precision farming technology.  Tschetter says his first precision farming purchase was in the winter of 2000-2001 when he had a yield map with a receiver installed in a new combine.

At the recent Raven Innovation Summit near Sioux Falls, South Dakota, we asked Tschetter how he is utilizing the 10+ years of data on his operation—and what he has on his technology “wish list” going forward.
