Dave Ahern with AGI SureTrack says when it comes to marketing their grain, producers should be asking themselves three questions.
“I think we really need to look at an approach of ‘what do we have, when is the right time to sell it, and where do I want to sell it to,’” Ahern says.
Ahern says AGI SureTrack’s “Secure Carry” approach can help producers with their marketing strategy.
“When you have a plan put together, we find out that we can pay for bins a lot faster, we can borrow better and have a better relationship with our banker—and, of course, we’re more profitable as well.”
