New markets include chemicals from corn cobs

Dr. Kevin Barnett is a chemical engineer who along with his partners at Pyran are scaling up Barnett’s University of Wisconsin research to make additives for paint and coatings from corn cobs and wood chips, for less money than the petroleum used today.
