Managing family living costs

A farm business advisor says, for many farm families, family living costs are going to have to come down in order for farms to avoid significant losses in net worth in the coming years.

Tina Barrett is the director of Nebraska Farm Business Inc.  She says their data shows annual family living costs increased from about 40,000 dollars ten years ago to more than 90,000 dollars in 2015.
