Collecting corn cobs for cellulostic ethanol

The nation’s largest ethanol producer, POET, is moving full steam ahead with plans to produce cellulosic ethanol from corn cobs. The company has been working with Iowa State University to determine if removing cobs from fields is going to impact soil nutrient content. We talked to Jim Sturdevant, director of POET’s Project Liberty.
