Cattle co-op captures all profit points

A cow-calf cooperative in Missouri captures each value added step along the way. Ron McNear started Missouri’s Best Beef which he describes as a non-profit agricultural cooperative corporation. The producers involved use their existing capital to move the business forward, ID each animal, and, McNear says, have no need for the NAIS.
