Buying new versus used


Many farmers are taking advantage of higher commodity prices by upgrading machinery. For some, the decision between purchasing a new piece of equipment or something used can be complicated. Ziegler Cat used ag division general manager Pat Flinn says there are several factors to consider, including cost, depreciation, and availability. And he tells Brownfield there are some attractive financing and warranty programs available for late-model used CLAAS combines.
