Adding boron to alfalfa

Keith Johnson, Purdue University Extension forage management specialist says alfalfa requires more boron than other crops for good growth and productivity, which is why growers should consider having tissue samples analyzed to determine whether or not boron should be added to their potassium and phosphorus application.
