John Deere introduces tractor steering improvements
John Deere has announced some enhancements to its 7R tractor series to improve driving performance.
Marketing manager Ryan Jardon says they have increased steering capacity for 2023 models.
“If a customer is running things like a triple mount mower conditioner on the front of that tractor, or a loader with bales or something heavy up there, one thing they have told us in the past is they wished it steered faster and easier when something is really heavy up there,” Jardon said.
He tells Brownfield Reactive Steering technology will help operators drive in a straight line.
“The tractor will drive a little bit more like your automobile where it will more easily return itself to center when you’re on an on-road transport condition,” Jardon said.
The updated 7R tractors are now available to order.
