Meat and poultry do not contain drug residues

A Consumer Reports article claims meat and poultry purchased at grocery stores could contain harmful drug residue. But the USDA says rigorous testing makes sure that doesn’t happen. Carmen Rottenberg, with the USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service, says the article misrepresents preliminary test results taken from poultry in 2017.
