Ending hunger and reducing diet-related diseases

It has been more than 50 years since the first national hunger conference. That changes today.

In 1969, President Richard Nixon convened a White House Conference on Food, Nutrition, and Health to end hunger and improve nutritional well-being.

Today, the Biden Administration is hosting the White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health. Ahead of the conference, the White House released its national strategy to end hunger and reduce diet-related diseases by 2030.
