Better understanding the food supply system

You may have seen some stories circulating on social media claiming a rise in fires at processing plants is part of a plan to disrupt our food supply.

According to the National Fire Protection Association, data on the number of fires at food-processing plants does not show anything out of the ordinary.

In this Healthy Living, we dug a little deeper and talk to an expert in that area. Glynn Tonsor is an ag economist at K-State University with one area of specialization in consumer meat and food demand.
