Brownfield partners with MU Extension for 2021 Ag Market and Policy Webinar

Jefferson City, Mo.  (November 23, 2020) –  Brownfield Ag News is proud to partner with the University of Missouri Extension for their 2021 Agricultural Market and Policy Outlook Webinar.  The webinar is scheduled for December 8, 2020.

The interactive virtual event, hosted by Brownfield Anchor/Reporter Meghan Grebner, will feature panels of agricultural market and policy experts who will discuss the key issues facing agricultural markets and rural communities heading into 2021.  The discussion-style format throws out the traditional PowerPoint presentations and replaces it with audience interaction during each of the expert panels.

Panelists include Dr. Pat Westhoff, director of the Food and Agricultural Policy Research Institute at the University of Missouri (FAPRI-MU), Dr. Seth Meyer, associate director of FAPRI, and Dr. Scott Brown, director of strategic partnerships for the University of Missouri’s College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources (CAFNR).

“This webinar will provide critical information about agricultural markets and policy as farmers are making plans for 2021,” said Dr. Scott Brown.  “This will be a great conference to gain clarity around agricultural markets in an otherwise uncertain time.”

“Brownfield Ag News has a rich history of providing market information to listeners,” said Cyndi Young, director of Brownfield & Ag Operations. “For nearly fifty years, farmers have tuned in to listen to Brownfield market news on their local radio stations. Today Brownfield’s in-depth market information is available on multiple platforms.  We are honored to be partner with the University of Missouri Extension to bring important market and policy information to farmers on this webinar.”

The registration fee is $20 and a link to register can be found at www.brownfieldagnews.com.
