Syngenta introduces new trait naming system

Syngenta created a new naming system to describe more clearly the key traits available to help growers better understand what hybrids they need for their specific needs.  Brownfield’s Cyndi Young caught up Drew Showalter, Corn Portfolio Lead at Syngenta at the 2022 Farm Progress Show.

Showalter tells Brownfield Syngenta is constantly innovating and investing to deliver new insect protection and new yield protection traits. He said Syngenta’s world-class team of researchers is always working to deliver new novelty technology in the rootworm space, above ground space and herbicide space to deliver resistance breaking technologies.
