Brownfield Ag Weather Today

Sponsored by Pivot Bio PROVEN

Cool conditions will dominate areas east of the Rockies for much of the week, while above-normal temperatures should cover much of the West. Later in the week, freezes should end the growing season as far south as the Ohio and middle Mississippi Valleys, as well as portions of the interior Southeast. Meanwhile, a brief period of relatively tranquil weather will end, as multiple storm systems cross the South and West. The primary Southern system should produce generally light precipitation from the southern Plains to the southern Atlantic Coast, while Western storminess will be concentrated across northern California and the Northwest. Five-day precipitation totals could reach 4 inches or more in western sections of Oregon and Washington. In contrast, mostly dry weather will prevail from southern California into the Southwest, and from the northern Plains into the Northeast, aside from rain and snow showers downwind of the Great Lakes.
