Corn hybrids, innovations to help growers in ’22

Adam Theis, Pioneer corn marketing lead at Corteva Agriscience, is urging farmers to be on the lookout for new corn hybrids and innovations

“When able, ask your Pioneer sales agronomist about the new hybrids and technologies coming for your farm for next year,” he says. “We’re always bringing new innovations to the marketplace that help farmers shoot for yield goals the following season.”

During the 2021 Farm Progress Show, Theis said a lot of growers wanted to know what’s coming in corn, what the new hybrids are, and what new technologies to anticipate that will help grow yields.

He also spoke about disease and insect pressure and how corn rootworm is very prevalent across the Corn Belt this year.
