State grain inspectors make exports, domestic sales possible

Soybeans and other Missouri grown grains often require inspection for domestic and export sale by the Missouri Department of Agriculture Grain Inspection Services, which is administered by Jimmy Williams. Williams says that’s when a state inspector is sent to collect a sample as grain is loaded on railcars, barges and shipping containers. To learn more, visit mosoy.org.
