Meeting will explain farm program details

The USDA Farm Service Agency in Missouri is reminding farmers to be familiar with changes to programs re-authorized in the 2018 Farm Bill. FSA outreach specialist Jessica Claypole says a meeting Thursday, January 23 in St. Joe will clarify options and deadlines. Program specialist Amanda Brosch says farmers’ election between the Agriculture Risk Coverage and the Price Loss Coverage programs was effective the programs’ first two crop years, but changes can be made this year until the middle of March.
