Missouri law boosts fines for off-label herbicide application

Missouri lawmakers have passed a measure calling for a $10,000 per violation fine for applying herbicides not according to the product label. Tom Steever spoke to Casey Wasser, Policy Director, Missouri Soybean Association, who says passage of the law resulted from last summer’s misapplication of dicamba that damaged crops in Missouri’s Bootheel.
