Missouri Dairy Association observes June Dairy Month

The Missouri Dairy Association observed June Dairy Month at the Ozark Mountain Creamery farm and processing plant in Mountain Grove, Missouri.  The association’s president Ted Sheppard told Brownfield that June Dairy Month brings into focus where milk comes from.

“Everybody goes to the store and gets the wholesome products there and never really realizes that there’s a dairy farm family connected to that bottle or that carton somewhere,” Sheppard said.

Guests included U.S. Congressman Jason Smith, as well as several candidates for elected office.
