Magnum Rowtrac builds on Quadtrac legacy
Case IH launched its new Magnum Rowtrac tractor just prior to the Farm Progress Show in Iowa. Zach Hetterick of Case IH tells Brownfield Ag News the new machines – with tracks where rear wheels would be, plus specially designed tires on the front wheel assist – came nearly 18 years after the rollout of the company’s big Quadtracs. “When you put the two together it gives you an innovative solution that gives the customer more floatation, less compaction and the ability to turn under load,” said Hetterick, standing in front of one of the new machines. “It gives them solutions where they can work in all adverse conditions.”
