Not a good year to cut seed treatments

Shawn Conley, Associate professor at University of Wisconsin-Madison told Brownfield this is not a good year to cut seed treatments if you are trying to push for higher yields

ROI can be anywhere from $4 – $19 per acre return with $8 soybeans at 140,000 seeds per acre.  Would prefer if you are going to cut, cut seeds per acre instead of in seed treatments.

Know your fields and past productivity to best determine which seed treatments will work best in your fields.

Brownfield spoke to Conley at the 2017 Bayer AgVocacy Forum prior held prior to Commodity Classic.
