Nole Gerfen – Swine Production

Nole purchased his first gilt at the age of nine and today owns 25 sows that farrow twice each year, with an average litter size of 11 pigs. On his farm, he is charged with synchronizing sows, ultrasounding, administration and recording of medication. In addition to his own sows, he manages his parents’ 2,480 sow operation.

Gerfen’s parents are Kim and Steve, and his FFA advisor is Stephanie Jolliff.
