Following up on the latest HSUS egg video

The undercover video released by the Humane Society of the United States in early April—the one it claimed was shot in Iowa egg barns—did not generate the kind of public outcry that the animal rights group was undoubtedly hoping for.   At the Animal Agriculture Alliance summit, we discussed the aftermath of the egg video with Gene Gregory, president and CEO of United Egg Producers.  He talks about a recently-completed third-party audit of one of the companies targeted in the video and discusses HSUS’ push for cage-free egg production.

  • Pull the tax exempt status of HSUS AND that of all religious groups that allow HSUS to take over pulpits and preach their life hating abominable messages. The animal radicals are a HUGE danger to our personal, national, and food securities. It’s time they were treated as the threat they are. Good grief, these “life haters” are light years past sterilizing our mustangs and are even sterilizing pigeons now. If we don’t slap them down, we’ll have a very barren world before much longer. I’m tired of paying the health bills for idiological vegans (lack of) thinking and their childrens’ rickety bones. I’m tired of our small grandchildren being propagandized all farmers in our schools being termed murderers. What can we be thinking when we allow them to terrorize small children! I’m past done sitting silently while animal radicals zero in on and eradicate our pet and farm animals. Most of these folks are so far out of even multigenerational touch with reality they are a danger to not just themselves but society. Animal radicals need to run their own lives and leave the rest of us alone. They surely are impinging on our rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness along with our rights to being secure in our homes, papers, properties, and effects.

  • We need to let the HSUS know that “we are onto you and we are fighting back!”

HSUS does little to help animals directly, but their unstated and underlying goal is to abolish animal agriculture in the U.S. They need to be exposed for what they are, a slightly less disgusting and controversial version of PETA!
