Solutions Scholarship Award- ($1,000) For 2011  High School graduating seniors. Must be a child or grandchild of co-op members, planning on studying agriculture and be on track to graduate after the Spring 2011 semester. Deadline March 31, 2011.

Ohio 4-H

Scholarship

Ohio 4-H Scholarships- (Varies) More than twenty scholarships area available to high school seniors who are former Ohio 4-H members. Selection is based on academic success, program invovlement and leadership. Applications are due Feb. 7.

Ohio Cattlemen’s Foundation

Scholarship

OCA BEST Scholarship-($5,000) High school juniors and seniors are able to apply. Student must be pursuing a degree in agriculture at an Ohio university or college. Applicants must also enter the BEST scholarship contest. Applications are due May 1.

Steve R. Rauch Inc., Benchmark of Excellence Scholarship- ($5,000) Student must have current sophomore standin at Ohio State University in order to apply and maintain a GPA of 3.0. Applications are due Oct. 31.

Ohio Farm Bureau

Scholarship

Darwin Bryan Scholarship- ($1,000) High school seniors or college students enrolled in an accredited Ohio university or college are able to apply if they or their parents are members of the Farm Bureau. Applicants must complete application and finalists may have to be interviewed in person. Applications are due March 1.

Women’s Leadership in Agriculture Scholarship- ($1,000) High school seniors or college students enrolled at an accredited Ohio university of college are able to apply. Applicant does not have to be a member of the Farm Bureau and does not have to be pursuing a degree directly connected to the school of agriculture. A minimum GPA of 2.5 is required. Applications are due March 1.

Ohio Soybean Council

Scholarship

Ohio Soybean Council Foundation Scholarship- ($3,000) Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors in college that are residents of Ohio are able to apply. Applicant must be enrolled full time at an accredited Ohio university or college and maintian at least a 3.0 GPA. Student must also demonstrate a desire to pursue a career focued on the application of science and technology in the soybean industry and agriculture. Applications are due Jan. 14.

Bhima Vijayendran Scholarship-($5,000) Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors in college that are residents of Ohio are able to apply. Applicant must be enrolled full time at an accredited Ohio university or college and maintian at least a 3.0 GPA. Student must also demonstrate a desire to pursue a career focued on the application of science and technology in the soybean industry and agriculture. Applications are due Jan. 14.

Graduate Student Scholarship- ($5,000) Graduate students who are enrolled full time at an accredited Ohio university are able to apply. Graduate applicants must be conducting research in bioproducts, biobased materials, bioengineering, biopolymers or a related field, and focused on the development and use of biobased products and materials derived from soybeans. Applications are due Jan. 14.

Ohio State University

Scholarship

Students enrolled in the Ohio State University College of Food, Agricultural and Environment Sciences are able to apply for scholarships. Applications are due March 1.
