The National Pork Producers Council (NPPC) reports the death of a pork industry leader from Wisconsin.

NPPC says Doug Wolf, a past president and board member of NPPC, passed away suddenly this week. He was a partner in Wolf L&G Farms of Lancaster, Wisconsin, which he ran with his wife and son.

In addition to his work with NPPC, Wolf was involved with the National Pork Board, most recently as chairman of its Trade Committee. He also belonged to the Wisconsin Pork Association, Wisconsin Farm Bureau, National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, the U.S. Farmers and Ranchers Alliance, representing NPPC, and served on the Wisconsin State Board of Agriculture.
