Ohio meat processor to expand

A Cincinnati-area meat processor says it will spend $17 million to expand its bulk meat processing plant, its largest expansion in its more than 50-year history. According to Cincinnati-dot-com, JTM Food Group of Harrison, Ohio says demand for its kettle-cooked meat products is growing and they expect revenues to increase by eight-percent this year.

JTM is in the midst of a two-year expansion. It produces taco meat, chili and other products for restaurants, schools, and grocery stores – more than one-million pounds a week.
