Milk producers to offer training on data collection

The National Milk Producers Federation (NMPF) will be offering a program to help farmers track and collect environmental data on their farms. The Farmers Assuring Responsible Management (FARM) program will help track greenhouse gas emissions but also help dairy producers identify potential cost savings and inefficiencies to their operations and help them secure data generated from their farms.

Webinars are slated for this fall and winter which will provide training materials and resource. A preview will be held at the Milk Producers Federation Joint Annual Meeting this November in Nashville. An online tutorial will be available later this year to cooperatives and producers looking to learn more.
