Farmer in Michigan’s Thumb expects decent crop
A St. Clair county farmer says they had a slow start when planting corn and soybeans this year, “But they’re looking pretty good right now. They’re a little behind. We were a little late planting but I think we’re going to have a fairly decent crop.”
Jim Domagalski – whose farm is in the Michigan Thumb, near Port Huron says they had a “rough” May when there was a lot of rain but he’s looking forward to a good harvest.
Brownfield interviewed Domagalski at the United Soybean Board’s See for Yourself tour at the Mid America Biofuels plant in Mexico, Missouri.
