INFB president wants Indiana to be a leader in Farm Bill discussions

The president of the Indiana Farm Bureau wants Indiana to be a leader in the 2018 Farm Bill discussions.

Randy Kron tells Brownfield the organization put together a task force to bring recommendations to the American Farm Bureau.  “We’re making sure we have a Farm Bill that our Indiana farmers are at least at the table and part of the discussion about what is important,” he says.  “Now we know when you get to DC there is always a blend of lots of different thoughts and different crops, but it is important for us to be there.  And for Indiana farmers to have input.”

The task force brought its recommendations to the entire delegate body and they were approved without amendment.
