The Illinois Ag Leadership Foundation has selected Leland Strom as its next leader of the organization.  Strom will be responsible for developing overall supervision of the Foundation and its leadership program.  The program selects thirty individuals from the agriculture industry to participate in its 19-month leadership development program.

Dan Kelley, Chairman of the Foundation board says Strom brings a wealth of experience in the ag industry.

Strom, a graduate of the 1988 class, previously served as the CEO of the Farm Credit Administration in Washington, DC and most recently has served as the CEO of FARM Illinois, a statewide association works to develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan for the food and agriculture sectors in Illinois.  He says the program has a rich history of preparing leaders to meet the challenges facing the global food and ag sectors.

IALF was founded in 1981 to develop knowledgeable and effective leaders who will become policy and decision makers in the ag industry.
