More Hoosier Homegrown Fuels grants awarded

In a third round of grants the Indiana Office of Energy Development and the Indiana Corn Marketing Council are helping to increase access to higher blends of ethanol.

The organizations have awarded more than 300-thousand-dollars in grants to install blender pumps through the Hoosier Homegrown Fuels Blender Pump Program.

The latest round of grants will provide Lassus Brothers Oil, Inc and Family Express assistance to install a total of 16 blender pumps where E15 and E85 are limited or not available.

Grant funds from both USDA and the Corn Marketing Council has provided funding for a total of 64 blender pump throughout the state.
