Animals for Life Summit

Dr. Temple Grandin, professor of animal sciences at Colorado State University will be in Ohio on March 20 speaking at the Animals for Life Summit.

“A lot of folks within the ag community recognize Dr. Grandin for her work in animal housing and handling,” said David White, Executive Director of the Animals for Life Foundation. “The public also recognizes Dr. Grandin as a very devout spokesperson for autism.”

White says the Summit, to be held at the NorthPointe Conference Center is designed to generate a discussion about the human-animal bond.

“And our focus is to have a common sense conversation about animal care, animal welfare and the human-animal bond with the very diverse group of animal industry stakeholders,” White said.
