Milk futures lower, cash dairy narrowly mixed

Class III milk futures at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange were down on follow through selling and demand concerns. July was $.01 lower at $15.88, August was down $.10 at $16.67, September was $.10 lower at $16.87, October was down $.05 at $17.07.

Cash cheese blocks were unchanged at $1.525. The last unfilled bid was on one load at $1.51. The last uncovered offer was for on load at $1.525. Barrels were steady at $1.3675. One load was sold at $1.3675. The last unfilled bid was on one load at $1.34. The last uncovered offer was for one load at $1.3675.

Butter was up $.0025 at $2.625. Five loads were sold, including one at $2.625. The last unfilled bid was on one load at $2.6025. The last uncovered offer was for one load at $2.63.

Nonfat dry milk was down $.0025 at $.8525. Five loads were sold, including two at $.8425. The last unfilled bid was on one load at $.8425.
