Avoiding spray drift is a key to a successful field and crop operation, and there are simple tips farmers can remember when working to avoid spray drift.

Professor Erdal Ozkan with The Ohio State University says farmers need to be aware of what crops are growing in neighbor fields as well as keep up with routine maintenance on their own spraying equipment. Additives and newer nozzles can also help to avoid drift and save farmers money each year.
