Continue to monitor for Eastern Equine Encephalitis

Dr. Nancy Frank is the state veterinarian for Michigan, where two cases of the viral disease that’s spread by mosquitos were confirmed earlier this fall.

She says it’s important to continue monitoring horse behavior and possibly take preventative steps.
