Social media helping promote healthy eating habits
Food journaling through the Instagram app is helping some people create healthier eating habits. Researchers at the University of Washington recently studied how Instagram photos of food are helping keep track of that they eat to stay healthy. Instead of using a food diary or app to track food intake, those Instagram users post photos of meals using the hashtags “food diary” or “food journal” to document everything they eatthroughout the day.
