Feeding your gut bacteria

When we take care of our gut health, we can promote better health overall.  Research is showing that when we consume probiotics, or good bacteria, we can improve our gut health, but we may also boost our immunity and overall health.  Dr. Corrie Whisner is an assistant professor of nutrition at Arizona State University. She says by feeding the probiotics, they ferment fiber and create beneficial compounds that have anti-inflammatory properties which can boost our immune systems.
