DuPont Prequel burns down winter annuals

There has been a rapid transition from winter to planting season. DuPont Crop Protection Corn Portfolio Manager Jeff Carpenter says no sooner did snow banks disappear then winter annual weeds reappeared. DuPont Prequel herbicide is designed to put on prior to corn emergence and to burn many of the winter annuals that tend to choke fields as the soil warms. Although the warm up has been fast, Carpenter says it’s no problem to apply Prequel under cool, wet conditions.
