Bob Meyer

Bob MeyerBob Meyer was raised on a dairy farm in central Wisconsin. The youngest of 9 (8 boys), Bob was active in 4-H and FFA and served as a State FFA Officer. His best 4-H experience was meeting Coni, who became his wife in 1977.

Bob pursued a career in broadcasting, starting as the “overnight  guy” at WDLB in Marshfield, Wisconsin in 1974. In early 1978 he left radio and became the manager of a local feed and farm supply company but he just couldn’t kick his radio habit and in 1986 he returned to the airwaves as program director of WDLB and assistant farm director for the newly created Goetz Farm Radio Network. Three years later Bob became farm director for the network.

In July of 2003 Learfield Communications purchased Goetz Farm Radio Network and Bob joined the Brownfield Network team.  He still is the “morning guy” on WDLB.

Bob and Coni have three children and seven grandchildren.
