Missouri youths receive Ag Youth Awards
Two DeKalb County youths received a 2016 Brownfield Ag Youth Award from Cameron, Missouri affiliates KMRN-AM and KKWK-FM.
Wyatt Smith recieved one of the Brownfield belt buckles for his excellence in livestock showmanship. Wyatt (15) took the reserve grand champion for his heifer at the DeKalb County fair this year. Wyatt lives in Amity will be a sophomore at Maysville High School this year.
Haleigh Karl also received a belt buckle this year. Haleigh has only been in the Clinton County 4-H organization for 4 years and this was her third year showing at the Clinton County fair. She won a Brownfield belt buckle for winning best overall hen as well as winning best in showmanship. Haleigh lives in Gower and will be a senior at East Buchanan High School this year.
Two belt buckle winners not pictured are Cierra Keller, a DeKalb County Brownfield winner and Hannah Cline of Clinton County, also a Brownfield winner.
