Wisconsin Scholarships


  • Internship – Wisconsin Pork Association(WPA) announces an intership opportunity for university students interested in communications, producer education, or marketing in the pork industry.  The internship, which would run from May to August, is available to students majoring in agriculture or closely related fields.   • Equity Cooperative Livestock Sales Association – Applicants or parents must be an active member of the association to compete for 10 ($500) scholarships. Questions: (800) 362-3989.
  • Foremost Farms USA – Foremost Farms offers 9 ($1,000) scholarship for cooperative member-owners or children of member-owners primarily in Wisconsin, but also in Minnesota, Illinois and Indiana. Questions: (608) 355-8798.
  • GROWMARK Essay Contest The 2008 GROWMARK Essay contest is sponsored by the GROWMARK System and FS member cooperatives, along with FFA leaders to help students develop writing skills, learn about current issues impacting agriculture, and the role of cooperatives.
  • Midwest Equipment Dealers Association Foundation – The scholarship applies to select one and two-year diploma and associate degree programs offered in training programs related to the sales and servicing of agricultural equipment offered at any of the community/technical colleges within the Wisconsin Technical College System and Illinois Community College System.
  • Northeast Wisconsin Sheep Breeders Association – Applications are being accepted for five individual grants of $100 each towards the purchase of a breeding ewe. Applicants or their family must also be or become a member of Northeastern Wisconsin Sheep Breeders Association. (The counties within the northeast district are Browen, Kewaunee, Dood, Manitowoc, Sheboygan, Washington, Ozuakee, Calumet, Fond du Lac, Waupaca, Outagamie, Green Lake, Winnebago, Shawano, Oconto and Marinette Counties).   • The PDK Educational Foundation – Annually awards scholarships to prospective educators. Eligible applicants are high school seniors intending to major in education and undergraduate members of PDK who are enrolled in a college education program.
  • University of Wisconsin- Madison – The College of Agricultural & Life Sciences offers a variety of scholarship inside the college and also outside CALS.  One Scholarship application covers all of the awards listed. You do not apply for individual awards listed.
  • University of Wisconsin- Platteville – Offering students a wide array of scholarships to help further their educations.
  • University of Wisconsin- River Falls – The University of Wisconsin-River Falls is very proud of its scholarship program, which has grown considerably in recent years. In the 2005-06 school year, more than 570 scholarships, in excess of $432,000 were awarded to freshmen and continuing students.
  • University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point – At UW-Stevens Point scholarships are awarded in several places, many departments have scholarships for high-achieving students in their area  and some scholarships are available for qualified entering students through the Admissions and High School Relations Office.
  • Wisconsin Cattlemen’s Scholarship – Offering multiple scholarships for students pursuing a career in agriculture.
  • The Wisconsin Pork Association – Offers students that are majoring in an agricultural related field scholarships.
  • WPS Foundation - . The scholarships given will be a combination of four-year non-renewable college scholarships ($1,000) and two-year non-renewable technical college scholarships ($500). Applications must be received by February 1, 2009. An application form and list of participating schools can be found on the Wisconsin Public Service Foundation website.   • Young Dairy Producer Educational Scholarship – must pursue dairy production educational opportunity, must come from family who markets milk to any southwestern Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association plant.
