Missouri Scholarships
- Brandon Gieselman Memorial 4-H/FFA Scholarship - Current or former member of Laf. Co 4-H Club or FFA Chapter ($500.)
- College of the Ozarks – College of the Ozarks guarantees to meet the entire Cost of Education (tuition) for each full-time student through a combination of the work program and federal, state and institutional funds.
- Dean Warnstaff Foundation MO-AG Scholarships - In January 2008 MO-AG will award three $1,500 scholarships to students enrolled at a Missouri institution of higher education in an agricultural field of study. Applicants must be enrolled in college for the 2007-2008 academic year at a Missouri college and majoring in a field related to agriculture. To apply send a completed application along with two letters of recommendation and a complete transcript to Ginger Berry at MO-AG.
- FCS Financial – To encourage and support higher education for dependents of FCS Financial customers, FCS Financial will award up to 35 scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each to eligible Missouri high school seniors.
- Lincoln University- More than 80 percent of LU students qualify for some form of assistance through federal and state grant, loan and employment programs. In addition, more than $1 million in merit-based scholarships and awards are offered to students each year.
- Marguerite Ross Barnett Memorial Scholarship Program- Need-based scholarship for part time undergraduate students who are employed at least 20 hours per week.
- MFA Incorporated- MFA is proud to be a perennial supporter for youth in agriculture. We understand the importance of agriculture for rural youth. And we know that today’s young people will be the leaders for tomorrow’s agriculture.
- Missouri College Funds, INC – The mission of the Missouri Colleges Fund is to acquire resources to help educate students that choose to attend private liberal-arts colleges and universities.
- Missouri Corn Scholarships- Missouri Corn programs award $7,500 in student scholarships each year. In 2007, Missouri Corn programs will award five $750 scholarships to college juniors and five $750 scholarships to high school seniors.
- Missouri Farm Bureau- Missouri Farm Bureau is proud of the assistance available to children of members who are pursuing a degree in some field of agriculture.
- Missouri Farmers Union- MFU is proud to reward youth actively involved in production agriculture and rural communities through the Gary Wiggins Scholarship fund. Please contact Missouri Farmers Union for an application at 573-659-4787 or email info@missourifarmersunion.com.
- The Missouri 4-H Foundation – Offers educational scholarships for 4-H youth and former 4-H members pursuing post-secondary study.
- Missouri’s Cattlemen Foundation - The Missouri Cattlemen’s Scholarship application is available online. For more information please contact Darla Eggers at (573) 449-4923 or at darla@mocattle.com.
- Missouri Higher Education Scholarship (Bright Flight)- Top 3%, ACT 30 or SAT V77O/M770. Awarded through state of MO $2,000.
- Missouri Sheep Producers Scholarship- Must be or have been a 4-H or FFA member with a sheep project, or have had a sheep project a minimum of five years. They are offering four $750 scholarships.
- Missouri State Fair Youth in Agriculture Program- Youth in Agriculture Committee provides Missouri Agricultural Youth with educational scholarships at the Missouri State Fair financed by corporate and individual sponsorships and the Sale of Champions to be promoted and secured by Youth in Agriculture Committee members.
- Missouri State University – Each fall, the Agriculture Department presents many scholarships to Agriculture majors at its Annual Banquet. This has been an ongoing program for over 67 years.
- Missouri Teacher Education Scholarship – Offers three scholarship opportunities for students interested in pursing a career in education.
- Northwest Missouri State University – With more than $16 million funded in grants and institutional scholarships per year, Northwest processes more than $43 million in total financial aid.
- Orscheln Farm and Home Supply Inc. Scholarships – Awarded to entering freshmen who have been four-year members of FFA, have demonstrated outstanding leadership ability and have excelled scholastically. Preference will be given to applicants who live in areas served by Orscheln Farm and Home stores.
- Sam M. Walton Scholarship- These scholarships offer $6675 per year for students majoring Business Administration with emphases in economics, finance and banking, international business, management, or marketing at MU.
- Soil and Water Conservation Society- The Soil and Water Conservation Society has three opportunities for scholarships. Many other opportunities for scholarships are available through individual chapters and information for those scholarships can be found on the individual chapter websites.
- Southeast Missouri State University - Southeast is recognized nationally as an educational “best buy” and one of only a few universities in the country offering the highly desired qualities of small classes and a student-centered approach at a competitive price.
- Truman State University- There are a variety of scholarships for students interested in majoring in Agriculture at Truman State and there are also financial aid available to many students.
- University of Central Missouri- The Department of Agriculture UCM strives to provide scholarship assistance to students in the department from all available sources.
- University of Missouri-Columbia College of Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources- Each year, CAFNR awards more than $750,000 in scholarships; more than half of which is awarded to incoming freshmen. CAFNR scholarships also are available to transfer and continuing students, and many departments have scholarships specifically for their students. Scholarship awards range from $500 to $3,500 annually.
- USA Rice Scholarships-High school juniors and seniors whose families are directly involved in the rice industry are eligible for the USA Rice NRM Scholarships. To qualify to win, students must run a promotion in their local community during September with U.S.-grown rice as the central theme.
