The Michigan Allied Poultry Industries, Inc. has announced a new executive director.

Allison Brink will lead the producer-led organization, representing Michigan poultry farms which includes more than 15 million laying hens, 5.5 million chicken broilers and 5.5 million turkeys.

Board President Jeff Smith says Brink’s agronomy, animal agriculture and environmental stewardship expertise makes her a strong advocate of the state’s poultry industry. Brink operates an independent ag consulting practice, is a NRCS Technical Service Provider and currently serves as chair of the Michigan Certified Crop Advisor Program.
