There are more ways than one to pickle vegetables. We learned about the hot brine and cold brine methods for pickling at the St. Louis Science Center Grow fermentation station. Chef Brandon Moore likes to use the hot brine method and within a week he’s got pickled vegetables in the refrigerator.
