Iowa farmer transitions to organic crop production

For the past decade, Aaron Lehman of Polk City, Iowa has been transitioning his family farm to organic crop production and now has 180 acres of organic corn, soybeans, oats and hay. During a recent visit to his central Iowa farm, we talked to Lehman about the decision to move to organic production, some of the challenges he’s encountered along the way, how the organic crops yield, and what kind of premiums he receives for those crops.
