Organization says EPA issues another road block to corn market
The president of the Ohio Corn & Wheat Growers Association says the organization is disappointed in the Environmental Protection Agency’s proposed renewable volume obligations under the Renewable Fuels Standard.
As Ohio farmers struggle to get their cops in the ground Preble County farmer Chad Kemp says the EPA put up another roadblock to farmers’ access to the corn market.
Kemp says the RFS has been a tremendous success for Ohio’s economy and its agriculture industry and has been a win-win for Ohio and the US to promote biofuels that increase energy independence, clean the air, and keep energy dollars in the US.
He says the organization is disappointed that the EPA did not follow what is laid out in the RFS.
