Cargill’s Mark Poeschl named next FFA CEO
A former state FFA president and current executive at Cargill has been named the next chief executive officer of the National FFA Organization and the National FFA Foundation.
Mark Poeschl of Brookville, Ohio will succeed current CEO Dr. Dwight Armstrong who is retiring June 30.
Poeschl currently serves as vice president, group director, stakeholder engagement at Cargill. He is a former FFA member and past state officer from Nebraska. The National FFA Organization says he will bring strong business, financial, and global perspectives to the organization.
He says he looks forward to contributing to the continued growth and success of the organization and is privileged to work with the FFA team, FFA members, and agricultural educators.
Poeschl will take over the position August 1, 2016.
