OFBF Young Agricultural Professionals give back

Ohio Farm Bureau’s Young Agricultural Professionals are giving back to the Mid-Ohio Foodbank.  The group raised more than $3,800 for the foodbank by selling t-shirts that promoted Ohio agriculture.

The shirts were sold during the Young Ag Professionals conference in January and also online.

Matt Habash, president and CEO of the foodbank says the relationship with the local agriculture industry and the contributions from the organization help create a hunger-free, healthier Ohio.

Ohio Farm Bureau’s board of trustees voted to add an additional $5,000 to the donation bringing its total to over $8,800.
