Olson re-elected NFO president
Paul Olson was re-elected president of the National Farmers Organization Wednesday at that group’s convention in Peoria, Ill. Olson is the sixth president to lead National Farmers and begins his fifth term in that position.
Olson, an NFO member since 1969 when I was a senior in high school, is an organic dairy and poultry farmer from Taylor, Wisconsin. He says his goal for the NFO is to expand current commodity marketing programs and to focus on forging partnerships with other farm organizations.
